Coaching for Quality is a trainer's manual for upgrading the quality of infant and toddler child care programs. Recognizing the importance of caregiver-child and caregiver-parent relationships in the early years, as well as the importance of fostering social and emotional development, the authors provide a framework for using the Program for Infant-Toddler Caregivers (PITC) videos and training materials, Prime Times by Greenman and Stonehouse, and the Infant-Toddler Environment Rating Scale-Revised (ITERS-R).
